LinePilot was built with privacy as a core principle, not an afterthought. We believe your reading habits are your business, not ours.

Data Collection

LinePilot collects zero personal data. This isn't marketing speak—we literally don't have any infrastructure to collect, store, or process your data. There are no servers, no databases, no analytics.

The extension stores your preferences (speed, colors, etc.) locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API. This data never leaves your browser.

Permissions Explained

LinePilot requires the following permissions to function:

• Active Tab: To highlight text on the page you're reading
• Storage: To save your preferences locally on your device

That's it. We don't request access to your browsing history, cookies, or any other sensitive data.

Third-Party Services

LinePilot does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No Google Analytics, no Mixpanel, no nothing.

Transparency

LinePilot is built with privacy as the foundation. All data is stored locally on your device. We have nothing to hide - our extension does exactly what we say it does: help you read faster without tracking you.
